Phoenix Logistics Inc. Selected to Develop & Maintain USAF Training Devices

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI) is proud to announce they have been selected by Headquarters, Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management & Integration Center (ACC AMIC) to develop and maintain Aircrew Training Devices and Aircrew Training Aids (ATDs/ATAs) for the United States Air Force, along with Huntsville, AL based prime contractor System Dynamics International (SDI) Inc. Together PLI and SDI will be responsible for training device development and maintenance, training system development and training consultation services.

Under this contract product development, fabrication, and maintenance, will be performed at Detachment 9 (Det 9), ACC Training Support Squadron (TRSS), Luke Air Force Base (AFB), Arizona. Det 9 ACC/TRSS provides training services and products to ACC, and other United States Air Force (USAF) Major Commands and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies as directed. This mission includes maintenance and development of training products on all DoD weapon systems, including sustainment and obsolescence mitigation of those devices no longer under a manufacturer’s warranty. PLI President and CEO Al Funderburk commented, “The ATD/ATA development work is a perfect complement to the design work going on within our innovation and integration laboratory in Mesa, Arizona”.
