Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI) has been awarded a prime contract by the Army Contracting Command (ACC) – Orlando to provide Medical Simulation Support Services (MS3) for the US Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI). The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a combined, maximum ceiling of $70 million dollars over five years and represents continued momentum for PLI’s products and services strategy.
“We are happy to bring our extensive logistical competencies to bear in support of the Program Manager for Medical Simulation (PM-MedSIM),” said Greg Williamitis, senior vice president for PLI’s Critical Infrastructure Division in Orlando, Florida. “Our team has proven themselves with PEO-STRI over the past year and we look forward to continuing the support through the MS3 Program.”
PLI will be responsible for providing procurement, kitting and delivery of medical simulation equipment to the Department of Defense (DOD) and other affiliated agencies at multiple medical training facilities throughout the US and abroad. The program will be managed by PLI’s Critical Infrastructure Division in Orlando, FL. PLI’s President and CEO, Al Funderburk, noted, “The MS3 win represents PLI’s ability to rapidly move into adjacent DOD markets leveraging existing processes and supporting infrastructure”. He went on to state, “We are proud of our entire team and very focused on supporting PM MedSIM over the coming years”.
