PLI Supports Adjacent Market Offerings – Space

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. personnel are now certified for production and inspection to NASA-STD-8739.4.

The NASA Standard is an exacting qualification that ensures reliable and superior signal quality across the physical layer; and is an ideal complement to our AS9100 certifications. Both manufacturing technicians and Quality Assurance (QA) leads at PLI accomplished the required 40 hours training and earned certifications over the past month. Director of Operations, Danny Dong noted, “PLI’s is one of very few small companies that can support space development and manufacturing standards as prescribed by NASA Standards. This accomplishment will allow PLI to pursue broader manufacturing involvement in space developments”. This year alone, PLI has been awarded two new space contracts and is currently in pursuit of several more space opportunities. At PLI we are constantly expanding our facilities and capabilities to meet our customers’ growing needs. These ongoing improvements are in support of current and future contracts requiring these stringent space level criteria for all Quality Controls and Systems.
