Phoenix Defense Welcomes Lieutenant General Maria Gervais (Ret.) to Board of Directors

Phoenix Defense is proud to announce the appointment of Lieutenant General Maria Gervais (Ret.) to its Board of Directors. Lt. Gen. Gervais brings over 36 years of military leadership experience, having served in pivotal roles across the U.S. Army, including Deputy Commanding General of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and the Combined Arms Center Training (CAC-T), as well as leading the U.S. Army Cadet Command.

Lt. Gen. Gervais was the first Director of the Army’s Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team (STE CFT), where she led efforts to accelerate the modernization of the Army’s training enterprise. She also served as Commandant of the U.S. Army’s Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear School, where she acquired and developed leaders for the Army and led the Army’s Environmental Program. Additionally, she contributed to key programming and budgeting initiatives while serving on the Army Staff, Force Development G-8, at the Pentagon.

Lt. Gen. Gervais holds a B.S. in Biology from Lander College, a Master of Military Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Master of Arts in Human Resources from Webster’s University.
